Just a magical, sunlit October day. Spent our Sunday afternoon feeding the ducks and soaking in the Autumn colours & sunshine.🍂✨🍁

Saturday thus far: Had a hearty breakfast. Watched

Saturday thus far: Had a hearty breakfast. Watched old episodes of Taarak Mehta (don't judge, I love it!) Deep cleaned some parts of the house. Visited the farmer's market. Sorted all the greens and veggies. Had a hearty lunch. Did some laundry. And that's about it. In the evening we'll probably go for a walk depending on the weather and then make pizzas for dinner (Saturday rituals, remember?). Nothing fancy, but days like this are sweet. Days like this are good for the soul. 💕

Also, look at my green blessing for the week. So fresh. I almost never let the carrot and beetroot greens go waste. I made a simple bhaji with the beetroot greens today. And I'll be adding carrot greens to my besan chila, adai etc. that I will be making in the coming week.🌿

Strawberry preserve cookies 🍪 I'm on a baking spree. And I just have the weather to blame for it.🍂 To the cookie dough I added some fresh lemon zest and juice - and I feel that made the cookies so delicious.

Sharing some lines I read recently -

I like reading home decor books - especially french and victorian styles. The two styles are classic in my opinion. Way too many mental notes made whilst reading these books - some ideas may not see the light of the day probably until our retirement but that doesn't stop me from dreaming and making notes. Anyone like me? 🥰
